Permit & Carry Requirements

Guam requires a concealed carry permit for concealed carry, issued by the Guam Police Department. Applicants must complete an application process, pass a background check, and demonstrate eligibility under Guam law. Open carry is prohibited. Guam's firearms laws are strict and differ from most US states.

Reciprocity

Guam does not honor concealed carry permits or licenses from any US state. Out-of-state permit holders have no carry rights in Guam. Visitors traveling to Guam with firearms must comply with all Guam importation and storage requirements.

Prohibited Locations

Guam prohibits carry in government buildings, schools, courthouses, law enforcement facilities, hospitals, and any posted private property. As a US territory, federal prohibited location rules also apply in addition to Guam's own restrictions.

NFA Items in Guam

Guam prohibits suppressors and SBRs regardless of federal registration status. Guam's firearms laws are administered locally and are significantly more restrictive than most US states. Travelers should carefully research Guam's specific firearms laws before transporting any weapons to the island.
